q Team Update: The month of November was productive for the team. A noted in last months meeting, November was viewed as a critical month for seeing where the team was at. Rob feels the 1st half of the season turned out great for the team. One player will be joining the team at Xmas time and this will be a forward. |
q Scholarships: Everyone on the team will receive at least $1500.00, above and beyond the Jimmy Condon Scholarship. New Business: |
6.1) Green and Gold: |
q Barts attended (on behalf of GBHA) a Green and Gold meeting last week. There has been a change in the contribution levels that we are required to give to the Green and Gold Society from our Casinos. It used to be that we would give the Green and Gold 20% of each of our Casinos. The new policy is that each team that does a Casino must commit only $1000.00 per Casino. Given that we have been making $30 or $40K over the past few Casinos, this is welcome news. |
q Foote Field is available for us to hold meetings. Catering would cost $10.00 a head and advanced notice is required for catering preparation. Possibly good option for any special events in the future. |
6.2) Friday Hockey: |
q Discussions around the table as to who is eligible to play Friday Hockey. There has been some players skating with us this year that are not Alumns and are not currently skating with the Bears. We landed on a policy/rule that any player that is skating with the Bears can skate at Alumni hockey. If they are not skating with the Bears, they cannot skate with us. |
