| This core
of twelve to twenty people changes from year to year and they
run the day to day and long term business of our group.
The executive is elected yearly at our annual general
meeting, which usually occurs at the end of the hockey season.
They hold monthly meetings during the hockey season and meet
every two months in the off season.
The executive handle the responsibility of:
- Keeping financial records of our various bank accounts
- Organizing social functions
- Acting as a liaison between Alumni and Department of
Athletics officials.
- Providing funds to help the Golden Bears Hockey Program
- Deciding on and implementing fund raising projects
For the Hockey Alumni to continue its success, it is
necessary to keep on getting "new blood" involved
with the executive. Graduating players are welcome at any time
to become active Alumni members. Our group relies on your
future participation. |
